Preliminary Task: Genre

The genre of our piece is an Action/Comedy. We choose this genre as we believe we know the most about it and can produce a good piece to appeal to our target audience; being teenagers. In choosing this genre we had to include certain elements into our piece, such as some kind of violence or action as this is what the audience will expect, also we had to include some kind of comedic element to also appeal to the audience.

Media Script

Scene 1

INT: low key lighting on an interrogation room

Dan:

(With anger and exhaustion) Where is he?!

Connor:

(frightened) I swear, I don’t know

Dan:

(With a Sigh) Look we need him before our boss gets here

Damian:

can I just fuckin' smack 'im yet

Dan:

Look, im going to give you one last chance


Conor looks down, Dan walks over to Damian and
pats him on the shoulder, Damian begins to walk to Connor
Clicking his knuckles.

Scene 2

INT: Phone Vibrates, picked up by Matt, with a dismissive shrug

EXT: goes to table tennis club

INT: As he enters see’s something is wrong Damian and Dan grab him before he can run away, sits Matt on chair

Amy:  

you know why you're here…
You know what you've done.

Amy hands Dan a table tennis paddle, Damian then
hands Matt a paddle.

Matt:

I guess we have to end this once and for all

Start to play table tennis intensely
