Question 6- what have you learnt about technologies from the
process of constructing the product?

From making this product I have learnt a lot about the use
of technologies. I have learnt much about cameras and the many different kinds
of cameras from the Samsung Schneider- Kreuznach SD camera to the HD Panasonic HDC-SD900
which can shoot in full smooth HD, using a remote and touch screen.

I found that using the Panasonic to be much more enjoyable
and better for my main task because of the smooth image it produces and also
the allowance to use either autofocus or manual focus to create nice looking
focus shots and although I did not use these for my main task I know I will in
future. In comparison to the SD Samsung camera I felt very limited to what I could
do and shoot with that camera, also finding it to pick up much background sound
and can be very shakey when shooting.

I also learnt about much in editing software using the Mac
which is a system I am unfamiliar with so I used iMovie for both my preliminary
and main task but editing in my main task as much better than in my preliminary
because I learnt much about Colour Correction and the use of detaching audio
which I did not use in my preliminary.
Also much more equipment use such as the tripod which I had
no idea how to use or set up before this and I found the tripod to be great hen
coming to capturing some good still shots. Also I used a dolly which is a
tripod that is on wheels which is great to capture some good establishing shots
such as in my main task.
I found the use of blogger to be a mixture between useful
and annoying, I found that when uploading images or videos for it to be
irritating to position but I did find that it was a good use to get my research
and planning across in a neat structured form.
